An Evening In Paris to Benefit Adult & Teen Challenge MidSouth will be a departure from all our previous events. Still present will be our silent auction, students to share with guests about the work that God is doing in their lives, and a vivid presentation of mission and ministry that has characterized A&TC for all these years. But, this year we are dressing things up a bit in a fun way. Guests are encouraged to dress in keeping with a “creative black-tie” event. Live music with an authentic French flavor will provide a unique atmosphere for meeting your guests, dancing with your partner and enjoying an enormous buffet of delicious food. You will experience the temptation of our chocolate fountain as well as a “faux-paigne” fountain filled with sparkling grape beverage (we are Adult & Teen Challenge, after all) for you to enjoy all evening. We have taken out the “sit-down-program” portion the evening, but we will be providing enough tables for you to stop and eat or rest and visit with friends. From the time you arrive, you will be encouraged to socialize, make new friends, check out the photo booth, meet our residents, participate in the auction, take in the night sky in the outdoor gardens, and enjoy the food and music.
We have learned from years of breaking up conversations and “herding” attendees into the room, that people like to visit, meet and learn and we want to provide this opportunity at Freedom Gala 2020. However, as you well know this event is, at its very heart, a fundraising effort to support the work we are doing at Adult & Teen Challenge. In addition to the silent auction and the A&TC store, there will be a wide variety of opportunities to give toward our work, some of which you may have never experienced before.
